So I was trying to take out my inner fenders the other day and I noticed a piece that I was unfamiliar with. It is screwed to the passenger side, front fender. It is spherical in shape and it had two hoses running from the piece toward the rear of the vehicle. One of the hoses was accidently released and some pressure was released. Any idea what it is? The specs for the truck are in the sidebar if that helps at all.

Its a vacumn canister for your a/c. You need it...

sounds like a vacuum reservior for your mode switch on the heater controls

Ok, thanks. So when I gut the fenders I should relocate it to the frame? Or somewhere else. I just want to keep it out of the way.

I'd definately move it out of the way. With your gutted fenders I would be wary of the potential for debris knocking a line off.
