How do you tell if a TC is going bad or going out??
do they go out all at once or do they go out slowly??
How do they go out??

The reason I ask is that my 89 BII is taking it's time shifting into gear, and I had the trans fluid and filter changed, and no help, the levels are fine, and I took it to a trans shop, they said it sounds like the TC is going bad !?!.

This Trans has got hot a few times in the past and puked trans fluid out and I had it changed right then, I also have a over size cooler on it now to help with cooling it, but I'm running rubber lines from the trans to the front to the cooler.

One of these days I'm going to save up and change this thing to a manual and be done with these crappy autos trans.

thank you

Maybe your cooler is clogged, it happens after a while.

nah, that's not it, I was just blown out when the last fluid and filter change.
