Question about Superlift

Will a superlift lift kit off of an 85 Ranger 4x4 2.9L fit on a 94 Ranger 4x4 4.0L? or are there some differences. I can't seem to find any information on the Superlift website. thanks for any info

Yes it will fit.

Yep, should all fit fine except for the front swaybar stuff (you probably won't want the swaybar anyway if you want the most suspension flex for offroad use).

Does the superlift have any front diff clearance issues like the Rough Country lift?

No, it should have complete replacement drop brackets for the diff beams, not just a drop plate for the passenger side beam.

I saw the pictures of your Custom Radius arms, they are freakin sweet. do you have any thread with the specs of them or how to build them?

Naw, I don't have a build thread anymore (was lost some years ago when the forum was upgraded).

There are some details about them on my BII Cardomain page though if you haven't checked there yet.


Also, Superlift changed to the better bracket somewhere around 2003 or 2004. Unless it's a real old kit, then yes, should be no issue with diff clearance.

Yeah thats where I saw your radius arms. The only question I really had was how long they are over stock... I am in complete awe of that setup

12" over stock length.
2" O.D., .250 wall D.O.M. tube
3° caster added to the arms.


They've been popular lol. I think at least a dozen others here have copied them. Simple and it works well.
