I'm doin a 4.0L swap into my bronco II. I just need to know what each of the hook up points on the starter are supposed to be connected to. I know the larger one is for the power wire. What is the smaller nut for and also the male connector.

Any help is much appreciated.

large wire goes to the constant power side of the relay.run a smaller wire from the spade connector to the hot in start side of the relay.done!

That explains 2 of the connections. What is the second smaller nut for? Or do I not need it?

hey, i just put a 4.0l clutch in my B2, and had to wire up a 4.0l started, do what rickcdewitt said, the other post witht the nut is not used
