i have a 1985 ford ranger 2wd and i want to put some newer ranger wheels on it but im not sure what size wheel and tires will fit and if theres a difference in offset from 1985 2wd rangers to a newer ranger rim?

There are a few differences here and there, but having a 1st gen 2wd gives you a lot of options. Pretty much any Ranger rim from all years and drivetrain setups should fit with 215/75/X tires without rubbing and no modification needed.

thanks alot, i just dont wanna buy rims to find out they dont fit ya know?

Yeah, I know. The biggest issue with fitment of newer rims on 1st gen Rangers is for the 4x4s because a lot of the time the hubs won't fit through the center holes.
