Question about Bodyparts

I have a 2000 Mazda B2500. I know alot of the ranger engine/suspension parts are alike.


how many of the body parts are alike? Fenders? Tailgate? Etc.

I have a friend who works in the parts department at ford and could help me out

The Ranger and Mazda are virtually identical with only some minor cosmetic differences.

You really just have to inspect a ranger and mazda. Some parts will work, i think a tailgate will, but not sure. I got bedcaps for a ranger and they did not fit my mazda. The bedcaps were too wide. The tailgate may be too wide also, not sure.

For a 2000 Mazda I think the only parts that are interchanable with a Ranger are the door panels and maybe the tailgate. Remember Mazda decided to get foreign when they changed the styling in '98. I prefer '94-'97 Mazdas, they look like a sporty Ranger.

Pretty much different for body, same for suspension, with few body parts similar.
