i have a 2004 raner edge stepside.....will a full bed like from an xlt fit on my truck? if so does it just bolt up or will i need to do some fab? any help would be nice thx guys

It should bolt up as long as its the same configuration (regular cab or super cab) and 95+

May want to wait for others to confirm or correct though.

Seriously? do a search! Any long bed will bolt to any long bed frame.
any short bed will bolt to any short bed frame, IIRC you'll have to also swap the gas filler neck, and the rear bumper.

Yup. Keep in mind, flares or no flares. If the bed has flares, when you pull the flares, it'll leave holes on the bedside. So find a short Styleside w/o flares.

You'll need a new fuel filler neck and vent for a styleside, rear bumper, and possibly taillight harness. I only mention this because steppies may have too short of a harness to reach the styleside taillights. I've only done reverse of what you want to do(styleside to flareside).

Never know....maybe someone will trade ya and you both have the same color!
