Quasi242's show off thread

dude it is sexi. no offense but my 2wd looks like it wouldn't have a prob in that terrain. but stailll brian Likey!!

True story, those pictures were taken in a spot that was picturesque but mild. I need to finish the rear suspension with some long travel shocks before I can put the truck to the test. If I were to hit anything too big right now, the Bilstien shocks would top out and would likely crack the frame at the mount. I can't wait to get it finished up. As we all know, all it takes is time and money.

Thanks! It was a tight race. FX4wannabe01 kept hanging in there. Once again, thanks for the nomination.

Truck looks great! It used to look almost the same as mine, minus mine being stock on 31s, ha. I might be interested in some of your old parts when my tax return gets here. I'm in Tucson too!

I don't remember where I bought it from since that was over 2 years ago. RCD discontinued the 4x4 kit nearly a year ago. According to a quick internet search, an online store (jackit) is still selling the kit. Might just be that they have not updated their site. I know that they are getting scarce.

I don't think that the 2wd kit would work since it would not include the proper extended knuckles. ORW is now offering a coilover conversion kit that will give you an RCD type ride improvement but I think that it only provides up to 3" of lift.

Good luck.

thanks...

boy theres like no way to really lift the new front ends... besides doing what you did

There is still the superlift option. There are quite a few people that run the superlift and then do an RCD type coilover conversion to get rid of the torsion bars. That may be an option for you if you are simply looking for a lift.

yeah i was thinkin of just doing a 3" body just so i can clear 33's cause my '01 im not really gonna wheel with it to much
