I got the motor back together an on the wiring harness for the fuel injectors there are 7 connectors i Know six are for injectors but i dont know where the 7th one goes?????

I have a 93 4.0 electrical schematic ready to e-mail you.

PM me your e-mail addy.

Guessing IAC, in answer to your question. Does the connector have Rd and W/LB wires? IAC does.

no it doesnt go into the coil pack !!! thats why i am am stumped

I'm disapointed in myself.:annoyed: I just went through all the trouble of going through my wiring harness, repairing broken connectors and adding fresh conduit and tape.......and I'm having trouble thinking of it.....:icon_twisted:

Isn't there a temp sensor up on the front of the lower intake manifold? or TPS? or IAC motor? :icon_confused:

I just did a 4.0 swap and wound up with a similar issue, I'm not sure of the technical names, but on the driver side mounted to the rad support by the washer fluid bottle there's a canister, on one of the vacuum lines that goes to the canister there is a little film container looking thing, that's where my plug wound up fitting.

Hope that helps

The sensor that's on the "charcoal canister to manifold" hard plastic line?

i have took the motor apart all the way don to the block and put it back together again twice just to see if i can find where the harness plugs in at and nothing on mine there is one big harness which has the 6 fuel injectors connectors and this mystery connector that looks almost just like the fuel injector ones but it doesnt belong on the fuel injectors thats what is confusing !!!!!

How much room does it have? The injectors all pretty much point to exactly where the injectors sit with 1/2" of play or so. Is this on the driver side, passengers side or at the back? What about the camshaft position sensor. That is at the back of the motor right? It is out of the way where you wouldn't see it really easy. I dont know what the harness looks like but it seems as if its close by. What is in vicinity of the harness? Also do you have a picture?

does it look like this one? If so, that's the one that goes towards the carcoal canister mounted below the driverside headlight
