ok guys what i wanna do is hook up a push start im my 84 base model b2 i want to have to turn the key then push the button and start it can anybody enlighting me how to do it

run a positive down to the starter relay from the switch. have the switch powere by ignition only.

turn key to "on"
push and go.

a starter button from a honda s2000 fits right into a cigarette lighter hole. just a useless bit of knowledge i found when looking to do this in my truck.

ok 06 ranger can u give me a little more detail i know that i have to run a wire to the solinoid but do i run another wire from the other post on the switch to the positive post on the starter or what i am electrically inclind but i just dont wanna mess it up
and not be able to drive it
