Does anyone know, or could send me a pic of (the ones I find online are not very helpful at all) the proper routing for the alternator to starter solenoid harness routing? Right now I have it between the coil packs, up over the valve cover down the other side to the solenoid but as it sits, it's awfully close to the open back of the camshaft gear.

Nope, goes in front of the timing cover, behind the coolant hose, in front of the coil packs, and then straight to the alt.

It's. So. Clean!...

They didn't change the routing of the wiring. I saw plenty of them at Ford when I worked there in the late 90's. It's the same harness configuration. They usually tied the harness to the engine hoist at the front of the head when the AC wasn't present.

That engine is dirty in that pic. Here is a clean one or two I took yesterday. :D
