Do i need to get an explorer master cylinder or can i run an inline adjustable valve? or do i even need to change anything? Ive searched and found nothing

no i have an explorer axle and never switched anything it works just fine

my rear squeaks alot under hard braking after the swap, not sure if the proportion valve is necessary or if i should be happy that the explorer discs are workin welll

Mid-97 and up models don't need proportioning valves or brake master cylinder change. I don't know if your will or won't need a change.

abs is only in the rear right, I'm sure my truck has it, but I have yet to feel or hear anything of the sort. this is my first pickup, so cut me some slack.

The master is the same on both models, as far as the proportioning valve....you can replace it if you would like, but it is not necessary and most people dont bother to.
