HI Everyone. I was wondering if anyone out there has purchaced some projector headlights for a 01-08 Ranger. DO they work good? do you like them? Are they worth it? Im looking at some from ProCarWear, lots of money, but I hate my factory ones. Thanks

Don't do it. Not legal, doesn't matter where you live. There is no HID/"Projector" conversion kit that conforms to USDOT or Canadian Ministry of Transportation standards to be street legal.

If you want more light, go buy some Ultra Silver Stars. Keep in mind though, headlights are there so that others can see you. You being able to see is secondary. HID conversion kits don't project the beam correctly and end up blinding oncoming drivers.

I think he may just be talking about a set of projector style housings like the Fusion or Taurus has. A lot of them are basically just new lenses.

Something like this I'm guessing.

If that's all he wants, then go for it. Those look kinda cool.

In my experience though, most people who are asking questions like that are looking at HID conversion kits.

Yes I am speaking of projector housings, not HID's. I have looked into HID's , andthat is not what I am looking for. I need better vision at night...what the truck comes with, sucks.

they dont suck, they do light up properly. if you need better vision, get new bulbs like the ones suggested, or aux driving lights
