Master hec0, I would be rusting the hood, that way if it goes wrong, then I got to the wreckers and buy another one. I did see that PT Cruiser, that is an amazing piece of work, it was like the Ford Focus I saw with a 5L under the hood. I would love to do something like that, but this is a daily driver and I need to keep it rolling, plus the car isn't in the greatest shape, so its not worth sinking big money into it, thus why its being spray painted and not professionally done.

Bumpers were done this weekend, front fenders are drying as I type this. I will slowly paint the rest of it when I get time and the temperature is warm enough.
Not even close to being done right now, but its a start.

so you thought about any other painting, cause like i said before red or white scallops would be badass and cheap. then you could have them pinstriped later in red white or lime green.

I know I am going to do something later, I have yet to decide what it is exactly that I am going to do later, pinstripe, old school style door logo, spray art. I'm not sure exactly, but with it being flat black, if I don't like it, I can always spray and redo it.

I like it, i love rat rods, and i think the cruiser lends itself to theme very well, and for those of you who don't think these things have any balls my first ticket was in a pt cruiser for doing 90+ in a 45mph zone, I had my towns entire police force on me, the supervisor even jumped the median in his suv to cut me off as I was slowing down. Ah to be 16 and slightly more stupid than I am now.
