Verry nice. My next BII, I wanna chop the top on it and do the bed rails like that. Awesome job

ty ty ty thought i would never get it done being it was my first time slicing and dicing lol

how long have you had the holes in your tailgate?

i recently took the trim plate off of my ranger and have the holes there now, and just wondering if what someone says would really happen (the bottom of the tailgate rusting out)

Might wanna grab a couple snatch blocks for the ATV winch.....I've stalled them snatched double line with my 600lb quad let alone a 3k lb truck.

I was thinking similar, but I think it might be an ATV fairlead on a full size winch, but could be wrong

the chop looks good though!

no its a small winch its 3000 lbs i know its small but all i could afford at the moment and better than none at all i dont plan on getting too aggressive untill i have the thing locked and the holes in gate are from a crome cover on the gate and i just didt take the time to fill them might do it later its like all of our trucks allwat something to do or inprove on them

i knew what the holes were from, i have the same holes because i took off the same tailgate chrome cover.

just wondering how long you have had them off and if you have seen any damage to the bottom of the tailgate

what's the best way to fill that sort of shape in? so that water can't get in.

you seriously bought a 3000lb atv winch? how much did you spend on the atv winch? you can buy an 8000lb Smittybilt for 300 bucks you probably pay that much for the atv winch you bought take it off and return it and go buy a real winch that cable isnt strong enough and its just dangerous. you will burn up that winch in a few min if you get stuck good.

IMO you completely wasted your money

I really want to do this same project but HOW did you do the bed? did you cut the body in half? or plz make a build guide for this broncoII build

Looks good man. I like the flat OD Green look.

bax i just took the cover off gate and it stays parked under cover for obvious reasons so no problems yet i will fill holes in just havet done it yet as far as the winch goes yes again its small and it was 99.00 and its just there for a little help and i dont want to spend a lot on that right now i have a 89 BII that needs a a4ld more than i need a winch so the money will go to that yea i like the flat green thought about spraying some tan and a darker green on it to make it look like a army truck i saw on the net

I just chopped my top did you have any problems with the sides warping when you welded them. man I wish you would do a build tread I would love to read it.
