Project: Mr. Bad Motor Scooter - 92 Ranger

Looks good AND if yu find a stalled freight train you can always give him a push start without bending your bumper:icon_hornsup:

Haha that's the plan! But seriously, I don't know about where everyone else is from, but there seems to be an abundance of stupid drivers here. If one of them happens to pull out in front of me, I just want to make sure that I don't receive too much damage.

More progress:

Mounts welded up:

Where the winch will mount:

Gonna get some 3/16 plate to finish up the winch mount...then I'm going to mount some bars, not really a stinger, but other bars for headlight protection.

Got the bottom plate welded on:

Hopefully it'll be finished up tomorrow.

You got some pretty darn good fabbin' skills, my friend!! :icon_welder: :icon_thumby: This is one more chalked up to the guys who see something they want to do and do it.

Doesn't need to be a high dollar, made in Mexico part. You just need a welder and a good imagination................:icon_cheers:

Thanks for all the compliments! Here's the finished product, not quite what I had in mind originally but it's what we came up with, I like how it came out:

It'll definately survive a couple hits. Once I get a winch I'll mount the roller fairlead in front. That'll be a little while.

Got my lights in finally. They are all 150W.

Four up top facing forwards:

I'm going to move the one that is currently facing backwards to down on the fender. There will be one on each side, just above the taillights:

Then I have two more to put up on the front bumper, will have that done tomorrow.

Yeah that will be this summer when I get back to my full time summer job. I'm thinking a Tuff Country lift for the front and then 63 inch Chevy leaves for the rear. Just get me up to 33s.

jeeze what a bad ass rig, glad to see im not the only one who likes there RBV OD Green:D

Took the Ranger to Aamco today to see what was up with the A4LD. They think it's something internal but he's going to have his "good guy" look at it tomorrow as he was sick today. So...if that's the case and it costs too much to fix I'm just going to drive it til it explodes then put a manual in it.

Yeah I just drilled several half inch holes in the bottom, one in each corner then a few more along the perimeter. Thanks for saying that, I totally forgot about it.

Got the other lights on, all wired up and good to go. There's four switches, one controlling the bumper lights, one controlling the reverse/tailgater lights, one controlling the outer two lights on top and then one controlling the two inner lights on top.
