Its not too tough, all you need is angle iron, plywood, flooring foam, vinyl and a piano hinge. We had some of the stuff lying around so it was easy access, but if you can find the stuff and run a saw, drill, stapler, and tape measure its doable.

sounds easy enough for me lol

Absolutely, do it up. There is no need for any ranger owner to buy a tonneau cover. I wanna get a set of hydraulics off the hatch of a van to keep the rear piece up when I lift it. Just gotta make it out to the junkyard.

So.... I went to the Canadian Tire (cross between Walmart and Autozone for those of you not located in the great white north) to see about getting a bull bar for my truck. After 35 minutes of arguing with the guy behind the counter and hassling with parts numbers in an out of date catalogue, no one would answer the phone at the company they order from.... I left with a small piece of paper with Keystone's number and the parts number from the bar, I'm still no closer to getting one. :flipoff:
Which brings me to my next question: RSH, are you putting yours back on your truck??

no he got a brush guard i think he sold the roll bar

So I'm going to College at the moment, which happens to be about 5mins from a junkyard. I went out on a whim yesterday and asked about a foglight valance, the guy offered me a brand new one for $65 and told me it would be here in 24hrs. Couldn't help myself so I bought it. I would've put it on tonight but it rained today and the fog was so bad I wandered around my driveway for 20mins but couldnt find my truck (welcome to the Maritimes) should have it on and pics in the next few days.

thats one nice bull bar man!

i still have mine around, but i got a black brushguard waiting to go on too, that will combine better with the black step bars.
im waiting for a guy who wants to trade my chrome bullbar for some black rollbars lol

hurry up with the fog lights valance pics!

Okay, so its been like 3 months, but I'm still here!! I've been extremely busy with school and, as such, haven't had time to take many pictures or really do all that much to my truck. It doesn't help that sundown around here is about 5 now.

Fear not, I come bearing modifications!! I lurked, and read, and researched, and PMed and found a set of power, leather expo buckets from a 2000 for a reasonable price, and the guy was willing to drive 2 hours to meet me. This fantastic gentleman was no other than TeddyZee from RPS. Just got em in tonight, still need to wire em.

I know what you're thinking, expo buckets can't bolt into a reg cab without switching the seat tracks and therefore sacrificing the power feature. Well, that's not entirely true. The difference in floor contrours between the ranger and 'sploder and the difference in track lengths can be overcome with a large drill and a Sher-Wood 1/2" spacer (counting on the Canadian guys to really get that joke).

looks hawt man!!! chicks will fight to ride on those!! :D

whats the paint on your door handle?
