Actually, if the floor wasn't so far gone I'd want to use it this summer to go camping and stuff. I'd put the 17's I bought earlier on it. It has camper mount bars (are they incomplete? Didn't look too closely.) Campers are cheap now.

I need to go over it better regardless.

I bought it for the axles though I can use the 351, auto and swampers to get this toilet moving. Still don't know how many running Fords need to be sacrificed to make this pile run yet.

My lady loves those 4 doors. Trying to find one for her still.

You are a lucky man. :icon_thumby:

Had to postpone picking it up this weekend. Bylaw enforcement was here Thursday. The ol' lady didn't answer but the car in the driveway had that on the door. So will spend some of today instead making the yard prettier.
I hate this crap, btw. I have my own schedule I'd rather live by.

Oddly, another 86 crewcab 4x4 (6.9 diesel, auto) came up nearby for $800.

Wondering if it might be worthwhile to patch the floor, put in nicer seats and ride this thing through summer on the Allterrains I have. Honestly, for all the times it'll need 4wd I could probably fit that CAD axle under it and start rebuilding the kingpin 60 for the Ranger. I really need a real pickup, the sploder doesn't carry stuff the same way.

Edit. May 9th: Idk what I've been thinking. I watched two different one tons pulled over today, both pickups. One by Commercial vehicle enforcement the other by a cop. Both were tacky looking and I'd bet at least one got a box 1 vehicle inspection order. My 86 actually looks like hell, its an ex-firewood truck with Swiss cheese floors. Insuring it and driving it would be crazy. So, back to our regularly scheduled, tacky looking Ranger contraption with a soon to be freshly killed source of parts.

Hey Ryan. Its all good. Its going into my wreckage so no doubt it'll be getting torched out again before long. I've seen your truck someplace and it looks good (to me damage looks good. lol)

Its here.

The 'ol lady's gonna shit a brick when she gets home. It wasn't there when she left. lol

Extra pictures cause without them my thread is little more than me bitching about not having money. Ya know, for the Ranger ...

This, boys & girls, is a kingpin HP Dana 60. Pretty much why I bought the damn thing. Well that and to freak out the gf. (that part comes free!)

Worth mentioning that it drove to where its sitting. Needs a brake booster.

I'm thinking about ripping the sh!t outta this already. But, I gotta see the gf's reaction first.

1986 F350 crew cab 4x4 on 36" swampers ~ $1100

Getting it towed from Pitt Meadows ~ $200

That look on the gf's face when she sees it ~ priceless.

Lol well is she still the gf???

LOL. Ya. But not a happy camper. Needless to say, I'm sleeping alone tonight.

And this is despite my telling her I paid $400 delivered. "More junk!" she said. I lmao 'ed. Tomorrow I'll put a permit on it and take it out for a bit.
Noticed the tires are bias in front and radial in back. Odd.

Lol I'm glad to hear she took it well.
But hey now you can haul the scrap metal off!

Shhh. Not so loud, bud.
If she thought it could haul scrap metal I'd be reduced to a mountain bike and no Fords in mere minutes. :D

Ha ha ha ha!!!!
