Got the steps on the sliders today...

And I think one of my buddies is going to sell his Jeep and buy Double R. I would love that then I can keep track of the truck easier.

How large of a tire would you think a yj(leafsprung) d30 could take if built and what would it take to build it to handle the tires? I wheel only snow so nothing hard on joints like in the rocks.

It should handle 35s. Might wanna consider getting rid of the two piece pass side axle shaft. You can take a one piece Cherokee pass side shaft and swap it in. You just have to pick up a drivers side axle seal and swap it into where the two piece axle shaft seal is.

37s are considered the limit of 30. You might wanna beef up the tubes some. I would probably look for a Cherokee non CAD axle. Thanks truck is coming together nicely.

Still have hydro assist, exo, beadlocks, and maybe a few other things.

Had a little time this afternoon decided to tap my new F150 box for Double R.

JIC #6 / 1/4" NPT fittings installed...

Ready for install when I have time next couple days.

Old box was looking pretty rough and leaked pretty bad.

Works like a champ!!! Still using the stock pump and no whine!

couldnt tell, but where did you connect on the axle? looks like the stock location for the steering damper but the drag link is in the way. the f150 box looks to be the same as the stock ranger pump. everything looks good, like those sliders

Yeah pretty much the same place as the shimmy shock goes. There is more room there since I moved the coil perch back. Drove the truck 40 miles this morning everything works great. I might see if I can turn the pressure up on the stock pump rather then buy the upgraded pump. I will post up if it works.

Yeah the F150 box is the same even feels like the same ratio inside the box. All Ford boxes are pretty much the same just some came with different ratios inside.
