You were bored so you actually yanked wheels and tires to replace them with those heavy bastiches, snap shots and repeat?

Digging the dedication, now get to work and show us that thing standing on it's own 4 feet!!!
gonna be a blast.

I must say i had a heck of a time getting the bolts that hold the coil buckets on.... spent alot of time of those working them free, back and forth, then spin a quarter turn repaet a few time, shoots some fluid on it and reapeat lol

The front shocks, the drivers side pretty well fell apart while removing it
Project Country Boy

Well i did like everyone said and picked up some of those steel spacers from a member here from an F-150, and well the factory nylon would not fit on it, nor would the coil.... so i got the grinder out, and made it work, heres the difference:

And thats all for now.... gonna start back up on it this weekend, need to figure out on making some drop brackets for the bump stops as well as some front swaypar drop brackets, i ditched the rear sway bar, and may use the end links from that up front, not sure i want to ditch both entirely, also have the pivot bushings for the axle, just not sure if i wanna bother putting in the new ones, the others dont have any play the rubber looks a little rough but they wont be coming out easy, just not sure if it will be worth the hassle, more to come, hopefully over the weekend

sweeet..just sweet

i really really like the progress your making, espically that you didnt bring it to a garage and yuo know what youre doing

lol im just kind of figuring it out as i go, more work to come over the weekend, hoping to wrap it up soon

haha thats how i do it, just go for it and figure it out along the way thats how u learn

Well i got some time to work on it a bit this weekend, little less then i would have liked, but irregardless i got some of the stuff done, all that is left is running a new steel brake line from master cylinder to the rear axle, possibly may do the front as well, well see, also gonna Por 15 the whole frame, then throw the shocks on, as well as but the box on and hit the road hopefully, i should get more time wed to work on it, any way here is the progress:

Had the axle out, so i could add the drop brackets:
