project Chknfkr!

Nailed it Kyle! And with 16 studs and the nuts torqued down to 450 lbs/ft, theres absolutely no slip, ever.

I forgot to mention earlier but when i was in stl picking up the wheels i saw a '86 ranger rattle can camo sitting on 6 - 8 blocks with 35's. If you own this truck or know who does own it take a good look at your u-bolts. I was scared driving on the same road with you. One side looked like this / \ and the other like so \ \. Just saying.

Oh dear god......

Why stacked blocks are a no no.....

So i have good news for me that happens to be bad news for the truck. I got a job in Charleston today and have an appointment to look at a few apartments in about half an hour. This means I'm moving about 100 miles from the truck and it doesn't look like I'm going to have a garage for a while. :bawling:

dang this is going to be a beast! keep the pictures coming. i especially want to see the tires that go on there when you get them.

Check out the 8x8 at the very bottom of the page. clicky The tires on the front are what im going to be using, rears are goodyear something or other, supposed to have been pulled from all army vehicles and replaced with the michelins.

Those wheels sure look familiar too

Well that sucks how long is the job? Your about a six pack away :icon_cheers: lol. Oh well gotta make money to spend it first

Hopefully the job is just short term. i got the job so i could move to Charleston, just to get my foot in the door till something i actually want opens up. the move to Charleston is likely to be permanent. the truck staying in Lincoln hopefully isn't permanent

awesome on the job. I am from Neoga and my wife is from Charleston. her parents and one set of grandparents live there still.
