Here we see what happens when you run the small u joint Dana. I had larger u joint shafts for the truck already but I had forgot to swap them in before I ran the gauntlet in the gulch. Started hearing popping and thought oh crap.... Lucky for me Dana 30 use unit bearings 15 mins later I was rolling again.

that's true, you pop off 8 bolts total and the entire axleshaft will slide out. i plan to upgrade my u-joints as well as have an entire spare set to carry around. once i actually finish the damn thing

Looks good I'm currently planning out my dana 30 swap into my 95 that has a busted up ttb. How many man hours do you think you have in just the suspension swap? Also you used your ranger steering box welded to the jeep parts? Thanks that's a good looking truck!
