Just got my 94 ranger with the hydrolic clutch. went to get it and some kid before me burnt out the clutch. So the dealer got a new one put in, but it wouldn't shift into any gear. Now we bled it out about 4 times, it seems to be doing good. I can fire it up and shift great into reverse and first gear until i get about half way through town then when i go to back up it just grinds. After that happens ill try first and then its gone too.

I figured that i pump it real slow about 3 times before i start it up to get pressure but it still gets the grinds after awhile. No air in the lines at all. Dont know whats wrong. If there are any secrets do tell.

slave cylinder is shot, it shoulda been replaced while the dealer had the trans out, they are known to take a shit, its slowy allowing air into the system, causing the issue u have now
