No. The 2.3 will only take a 2.3 clutch. The 2.9 and 4.0 will both take a 4.0 clutch. Not the 2.3, only order 2.3 parts for a 2.3.
Besides that, the 2.3 isn't powerful enough to make use of a clutch bigger than the 9" it came with.
