I was putting off a brake job figuring the rotors where out of spec anyways... Well the inner pad if worn doesn't go metal to metal... Instead it falls out rather dangerously. Scared the heck out of me when I heard a huge hydraulic hiss and the peddle went limp:icon_surprised: Just had that happen today! Turns out they are known for it. Maybe we should do a tech article or something
 
Never heard of it before... and 15 years ago mine did go metal to metal.
 
Yeah, I thought it was just me till I googled it and found a Dakota forum where other folks where talking smack on rangers and they mentioned it.
