does anyone know how much a new motor for a 2001 ranger would cost? 3L v6

it depend on short or long block i found a short on ebay for 450 after shipping most long
block are 1500. if you need help let me know i not that far from you

A short block is the block and rotating assembly. A long block is everything but the accessories and intake.

Or you could get a running JY engine cheaper. get something that has been tboned or rearended with low milage.
