I'm new to forced induction, just bought a turbo coupe. Since TRS is the best forum out there, here i am asking about my thunderbird! I need to test for boost leaks. I know the main idea but is there anything specific I should or shouldn't do? Where should I tie into the intake to supply air pressure? Can I make a fitting to plug into the inlet side of the turbo?

Also what about air/fuel gauges? For a mostly stock system is a narrow band good enough? I can't justify $300 for a wide band if a $30 narrow band will be okay, it's not like I'm tuning a stand-alone or anything, just want to be sure my efi is keeping up...
