pressure sensor on a 1986 ford ranger 2.9v6

where is the oild pressure sensor on a 2.9 ford ranger i think my guage is messed up cause it bouces all around so im gonna try an aftermarket guage

Not sure on your exact truck, but 99% of the time they are mounted very close to the oil filter.

It's on the front, driver's side of the motor, right behind the timing cover. 302s have it in that spot also.

Under the PS bracket, threaded into the block, on the driver's side, if I remember right.
