prerunner fourms

OK, I added the forum. But now I have a question? What should be moved in to it? There is a ton of questions in the 2wd forum about lifts. Should the PreRunner forum only contain posts associated with long travel 2wd suspensions and should we leave out all the basic lift stuff so that we had a Lifted 2wd forum and 2wd PreRunner forum? The PreRunners probably don't want to weed through posts about leveling coils, cheap 2wd lifts and so forth.

Thoughts?

Weeding (reading) through and moving stuff is the worst part.

I think it should contain mainy long travel suspension builds, prerunner style cage work, body panels and such..I have my front suspension build that could be moved in there and will be posting my rear set-up by tonight

same here! Race pretty much said it all. its amazing how far this has just come and all jsut from cayon, raceranger, ranger#1 and me talkin about it in a build haha. this is cool!

I agree that there are sites already like Race-Dezert.com but its more general desert racing. And lets not get started on DezertRangers.com, been there a few times and Im afraid to post out of fear of getting flamed right off and banned for no reason so I usually just stick to reading everything. The reasons I think a section like this would benefit the forum is that I see a lot of people asking about "prerunner" type mods or some kinda mod that is similar even if they dont know it. Basically having a section like this would attract more people to the site instead of always re-directing those people telling them to go to the previously mentioned sites.

Basically I think it would expand the TRS community and make it more diverse instead of just trail/rockcrawlers and low-riders being attracted here. Its also nice because it minimizes users needs to register at 5 other sites to get info(in my case I am registered on almost 10 other off-road/ranger sites). I could also see how having people from the crawling community give input and maybe a new viewpoint on things the prerunner guys wouldnt know about. Example would be that I live in the mountains and semi desert and I want a rig that can both go high-speeds and be able to keep up with my buddies cherokees and samurai's, get input from both sides and build a nice all around rig.

Just my opinion, but I would definitely participate and help out where ever I could if this was created.

oh hey jim, one other thing, i have my truck build in the under construction area because im doin a full race build up but your more than welcome to put it in the prerunner section. Not sure if its conflicting with the new addition.

we all now how people on here dont like to spend a dime. so when people from other forums see a nasty lookin prerunner, they might refer to it as a TRS prerunner. just a warning! some of us have seen the different threads on dezertrangers and how they bash on other peoples fab skills.

I think it would be a great addition.

I like DezertRangers, but they are hardcore. A mild build over there includes full cage, linked rear, Kings all around and a full season of 1450 class.

Hopefully a prerunner forum here would be a more all-arounder approach. Reasonably long travel suspension (because it's just better) without making it a race truck.

I'm glad to see the prerunner section over all. I think if its kept cival it could really open on the eyes of some people on here,just how mulit purpose a desert truck can be.And maybe some more of the tech. will follow over to the trail trucks and such.

God Damn it boggin quite double posting. J/k I had to do it. and I really thing that the prerunner forum is a great idea. like folks have said that a mild truck at dezert is a pretty modded truck. I know every now and then I will roll down to the pizza and prerunner meet on thursday night and I really feel poser like. But the guys are pretty cool and open to new comers. even with my poser rig. but I'm still intimidated.
