My credo
I need more sleep.
So, I want to turn my truck into a pre runner, but still retain the DD aspect, so I've created a checklist of the stuff I need. If anyone has input let me know!
This is what I plan to do soon
Tube front bumper
Tube rear bumper
Long travel front suspension
Rear deaver springs
New shocks
Bed bars
4 aux lights
Skid plate
Limited slip
Tire swing gate
Spare tire
Now the later ones I plan to do
Supercharger
Fiberglass
Racing seats
Manual transmission
Any thing else I should think about getting?

Almost guarantee you will need fiberglass for the front when you do the long travel or else you will destroy your stock fenders

Fenders should be higher on the priorities list

That's probably a good idea lol.

what kind of budget are you working with?

I'd like to keep it under 10 grand if possible.

What year is your truck? Has a lot to do with how much you'll be spending. Are we talking high dollar whore or a dirty hooker.

What are bed bars? Do they serve whiskey?

I mean, they could... There the bars you see in the bed that the lights sit on, the one bar wraps around the rear window with kickers going to the bed. I have an 07, so, it's pretty new.

Well for the rear shocks you'll probably have to run a bed cage. Unless you choose to retain all of your bed space and cantilever the rear that will cost quite a bit more though and IMO doesn't handle quite as well I've riden in both styles with deavers. Here is a bolt in bedcage I built for my ranger before I decided to go full kill and ditch the bed.

a cantilever set up can handle just as well as a bed cage set up, it's all shock tuning.

I'm getting my stuff from dixon bro's.

I've drawn up some designs for my front bumper. Now I need to put my fabrication skills to the test

I've riden in quite a few cantilever trucks and helped tune a few as well IMO you just can't beat a well set up pair of bypasses off the spring plates.
