i have an 86 ranger ext cab and im wanting to build a 4 link rear end, my friends all run leaf set ups and they are ok but im looking for more. the problem is i dont have the money to drop on a kit so we decided to build it. i just cant find info on how long to make the arms, some say 54 to 56" is good for an ext cab ranger but wat about the upper ones? can anyone help?

I know this is the prerunner area but I have to ask.. Is this a desert truck or a crawler?

I can probably help you get the ball rolling on where to set your weight transfer points. Plus I have a few "in the garage" tricks for the guys who don't have CAD programs..
