I've been preparing for a body lift for a couple weeks now. Here is a little background before my question.

I have the performance accessories kit from summiit racing. I have spent Christmas spraying all the body bolts with pb blaster/wd40 whatever i happen to get my hands on at the time. Been looking over my parts and instructions and everything looks in order'

What my big question is what happens to the filler tube for the fuel there don't seem to be an extension for the two hoses?:icon_confused: If anyone else has ever done a body lift on a 2003 extended cab please chime in and let me know what the secret is to the fuel tubes. thanks in advance for any info passed along.

I dont know about a 2003, but I have a 2" on my 84 Ranger and a 3" on my 94 Explorer. Neither one of them came with anything and even though the filler neck kinked a little (Ranger) I have never had any issues with fueling it. It may be different on your year though.

Thanks for the effort i think I'm just gonna wing it and if i need something I'll just have to borrow a car from someone,

Just thought I'd update the thread body lift is in. Since body lifts are nothing new I didn't take any pics of the install but here is one after I came back from my stepbrother's car lot from using his air tools and lift to raise the body up.

It wasn't as hard of an install as I first thought it would be, The hardest part we had was the 4 cab bolts with the stupid loc tight crap the factory used a half inch impact didn't even budge those jokers. So out came the breaker bar and some pipe.:icon_thumby:

The truck is currently sitting on some 245/75/16's till spring then i'll jump up a couple tire sizes when the income tax money comes creeping into my account:yahoo:
