not sure where to look. ive got a 97 ford ranger 2wd and want to do a pre-runner kit to. just want to be able to clear 31's. just wondering where i should get the twin i beams and all that

cut and turn beams are the cheapest, simplest.

If you don't have the confidence in that, there are a few bent beam kits out.

for a little more work, but with more travel, F-150 beams are longer(longer lever=more travel)

For more cash, Camburg, Threat motorsports, BMS Fabrications, BTF Fabrication, etc all make Long travel kits in both equal and un-equal length configurations. unequal length uses the stock pivot locations, equal length uses new beam pivots. Some are set up as J-beams(Radius arm welded to beam) and some are set up as the standard radius arm/beam set. for more info check out the Tech Library and the Prerunner section in the Suspension/Armor section of the forums.

Also everything mentioned is for the front only. The rear setup will most likely not be part of the front kit.

hey

i have a 5in pro comp, on my truck right now, i was thinking about pulling it off and selling it, i have 31's and they fit pretty well. let me know if your interested, i had it on for about 6 months.
for a quicker reply just send me an email at rusty133@gmail.com

You shouldnt have too hard a time clearing 31s. Im clearing them just fine with just a 2" lift

Wrong section, Bro. Go to the Prerunner thread on this site. See some neat pictures ther and ask all your questions there. Lots of prerunner guys there to help. 2wd? Check out the lifted 2wd thread. Cool stuff. I still thing about dong the fenders front and rear.....I just don't want to paint my already super clean 99 Ranger...but I still drool over the neat body panels when I see them on a truck!!!!
