Does anyone know if there is any real difference between the 88 and 89 brake lines? I found "cheaper" prebent brake line sets for all years except 1989. Classictube makes a set for the 89, but it is about double the cost. I have to imagine I could use the 88 set?

Another alternative that I used and like the quality of is the kit where you bend the lines by hand. Check Ebay #143241898498 and read about the quality of the lines they offer. About $63.00 with shipping.

Thanks for the lead on those lines. I just might go that route

I second bending your own. It is INCREDIBLY easy to do. Just find a can or pipe with the bend radius you're looking for and go to town!

If you're going to make your own spend the money for nicopp line. It costs more but is incredibly easy to bend and flare, and is practically corrosion proof.

I've bent and flared a lot of brake lines over the years... never tried NiCopp. The next time I need to do a line job... I'm probably gonna give it a go and see what all the hype is about.
