Hey bro, times like these are tough. I have had lots of friends go through things like this and myself also. Although it was not the exact same situation, I find these times it's best to just press into the Lord and find comfort in Him and His word. The Lord loves you and your mother soooo much, He is the healer and miracles are one of His jobs. Have faith and pray, we are all in agreement with you.

between me and my dad totalling his truck(the reason i became a mechanic and that i learned to drive in) all the probs with other cars, and my aunts boyfriend dieing of a heart attack on saturday morning(at the ripe old age of 19)

Like someone said above, pray for healing but pray for comfort too. I dont think anyone can fathom losing aparent til it happens, but at the same time it eventually has to happen. God will heal her if its not HIS time to bring her home. However, be ready to accept his will no matter what. He might just be ready to spend some time with her Himself. If this is the case, she is a very lucky woman. We will pray for her.

you guys can't imagine how much all this mean. i really is amazing how many people have been around to help. we've had tons of people come to the hospital and bring us food and stay with us, it really is a blessing. on sunday her pulse stopped 6 or 7 times and had seizures and another heart attack. a few times she was able to revive herself, the times she did not revive herself the doctors were able to revive her with in seconds. so that was very positive. sunday night the cardiologist gave her some steriods in an IV every 6 hours to reduce the brain swelling. they were concerned about all the times they had to revive her was causing too much swelling. the cardiologist said that the next few hours that night would be critical and her chances of making it were getting slim. but if she could make it through 48-72 hours without any cardiac arrests she would be much better. it's now tuesday, 1PM and she hasn't had any arrests since sunday at midnight. so we're working on hour 37 now with no issues, her heart rate is normal, her blood pressure is good. last night they started to feed her through an IV. this morning they slowly reduced the medicine that was keeping her sedated, now she is completely off the medicine and is wearing off now. my sister and i were in the room and asked her to breath and you could see on the resporator she was periodically breathing on her own. we also asked her to squeeze our hand and she did! we asked her if she could open her eyes a little and we could see her eye lids fluttering. it's absolutely amazing. she's got a lot of fight in her. a few days ago i was over my parents house and was looking through her purse and found a little book called 'Miracles in the ER', that was strang but i felt a little better for some reason. i think it's because of the big man upstairs. again, i can't thank everyone enough. take care and God Bless!!
