What is the difference between the powertrax "Performance Locker" and the powertrax "Lock Right?"

I found a Performance Locker for a 8.8 31 spline NIB for 200$. Lower down in the description he lists it as a no slip.

The "No-Slip" is more of a DD while the "Lock Right" is more orientated for off-road. $200 for a No-Slip is at least half what they normally go for. Sure like mine.
Good description on the Richmond Gear site.

I found it on a mustang site, and the guy says it wont work for a Ranger because the "key size" is different. Is that correct?

I have no idea of a key being used. Do you have the part number that could be referenced to the application chart? If it's for an 8.8 31 spline, don't know of any difference.

Powertrax Application Chart

Edit - the only 31 spline Mustang axle they list is the 99-00 Cobra, but there's no locker listed for it. Do the Mustangs have 31 spline shafts now?

Boy are there some things that don't agree with each other on their site. On the chart Fastpakr posted, sheet two, they show the Ford rear end with the 8.8 31 spline with both the 3/4" and 7/8" cross pin, part numbers 92-0668-3127 and -3128. Flip down the pages and for the Mustang, only the -3127 is listed. Ranger shows both the -3127 and -3128 listed. I'm sure my Mustang has the 31 spline. The chart doesn't have any Mustangs later than 2000, don't know what the newer GT's have. With 300 hp I would thing the 31 spline.

I am in the middle of rebuilding an explorer 8.8 axle to put on my ranger. A couple of the clutch plates in the limited slip are basically done so I am weighing options. I saw this ad on a mustang site, Ill link it

It says for a ford 8.8 31 spline. part number vx182c

damn. Well, I emailed richmond and hopefully they will be able to give me a final answer.

The vechicle is my daily driver, and I heard that these no-slips a pretty tame on the pavement compared to a lockright.
