powerdome hood

Does anybody know if the powerdome hood from the newer rangers will fit on a 1993 ranger? Has anyone done this before?

To make it look right, you'd have to do a complete front end swap. Core support, header panel, grille/lights and fenders.
The fenders are different between the 93-97, and 98+. The tops of the 98+ fenders curve more front to back, while the older fenders are more flat across the top, so using the powerdome hood with the older fenders leaves a big gap in the middle.
Also, the leading edge of the powerdome hood won't match the grille of the 93-97 trucks, and will hang over. Besides looking goofy, the latch won't line up, which is why you'd have to switch the core support and header panel.

dang, I had assumed that if it wasnt a direct switch over that Id need to do the entire front clip. definitely not worth my time and money need to do other things first. ie, paint, spider gears, and a low end knock I have.
