I have a 01 Ranger XLT w/ power windows. I bought the truck 2 months ago.Are the power window switches supposed to light up? If so whats the problem?

I'm assuming that goes for the Cruise Control buttons as well, since mine don't light up.

my cruise control buttons light up. Mines an 02 though. Can't remember if the power window switch lights up

yea the cruise controls light up but not the windows.that is strange!?!?
