power window swap 1st gen?

can i swap power windows from a 83-92 ranger into a non power window
1983 ranger?

1. is there a difference 83-88 vs 89-92 power windows?
2. is the glass,window tracks ect the same non power and power?

my plan would be to just swap the power window sliders and motors into my doors and just wire up a aftermarket relay and window switches.
im not against using all stock stuff also i.e. switches,ect. but then i would have to find new door panels which i dont really want to do.

just looking for more info about this if anyone has done it.

I have done it using all OEM parts. It isn't that hard. Worst part was finding the switches and such because they weren't that common.

There are some wiring differences between the 88 and 89 split, nothing huge. Makes the lock wiring easier to go with the later stuff.

Glass and regulators are pretty much the same.
