Hey Guys,
I dont know if this is the right place to post this but i am going for it. I have a new ranger and hate taking it to the dealership it is just to much work, but anyways i have power windows and when i roll them down they kinda "chatter". It's not smooth like most cars, i think they have pentle of power going to them. I insight would be useful.

Thanks,
Josh

I have an 08 and it does the same thing, especially if its damp outside. Curious to see if anyone has a fix for it.

You can try some silicone spray on the window felts.

Have the same problem on my 09.

I got a free oil change from the dealer and am going to ask them about it.

i frequently have this problem it seems every time it rains i get that problem
To get rid of it just grease up window railings and moving parts it will roll up smoother and get rid of the chatter

the rubber that rubs against on the outside of window catches the glass and cause that try a stuff called dry lube!!!

Someone at a Window installation Place to use PAM, I know it sounds crazy but I did it on my wife's 98 and it worked OK; she hasn't complained about it since so that was worth a shot.

HI Josh,
I have the same problem. The official solution apparently, is a bit of a mission, but here it is, the TSB for this issue attached, keep me posted if you do it. I'm going to at some point. Best.

I'm going to say Josh isn't looking for an answer anymore. He hasn't even been on the site since 2012.

If you clean your windows with this:

rainx waterless car wash & rain repellent

There will be no more problems.
