power steering went " Bang!"

Just spent 5hours replacing return line on my'93, filled up reservoir ran less than two minutes and bang! power steering fluid all over! First thought was blew line but both seem intact and can't find any big holes in reservoir or steering box seemed to blow out of left wheelwell coating most of it and my left leg. Any ideas where to start? I need all the help I can get!

It's kinda off-the-wall, but maybe you burped a large bubble out, and fluid blew out the vent hole in the pump cap?

Otherwise, add more fluid and see where it comes out.

Cap is dry, everything below pump dripping wet. I'll try to put in more fluid and see what happens. Thanks

Pressure line probably went as well.
Just did both on my 94.

p/s went bang!

Finally got to look and see what went bang (Fl. showers and work keep getting in the way) pump and lines Not leaking, leak is at top of steering box/gear where a cover bolts on. Is this something that is an easy repair or replace the entire box?
