Ok I have a 95ranger 2.3L I was doin my regular oil change and backed it off the ramps and noticed a bad leak in power steering fluid it was my old rusted low pressure line I replaced it and while I was at it I thought it would b a good idea to replace my pump and pully as well got it all in except for the stubborn pully that is an 8th of an inch off I have the pully puller and installer kit from autozone I keep snapping the bolts I even tried replacing them with stronger ones nothing wrks at wits end in dire need of help :icon_confused:

are you SURE thats not all the farther you've gotta go? can you eyeball the other pulleys to see if its lined up? There really isn't anything to get in your way if your doing it right, it just slides on, with the added coersion of a pulley installer.

Yea I looked at other pullys and the old pully had where marks from where it butted up to the shaft so it deffinetly needed to go on more but I gave up today and had it towed to a shop but thank you for ur responce u have givin me more info than any body ever did I appreciate it! Thanks dude:icon_thumby:

hey no problem, I hope you can get this resolved. I just don't understand why its given you so much trouble..I just did mine recently and it slowly but surely just slid into place..
