Anyone know where I can get a power steering pump pulley for my 1986 ranger 2.9. It is the v-belt style. I have found plenty of the serpentine style but no v-belts. I bent it when I was removing it next time I will use the right tool!

I happen to have one of those.

Sure. I can sell it.

Do you have any pictures of it or can you take some pictures of it so I can make sure it is the right one. What is the price you are asking???

I can get some pics tomorrow. It's in a dark cold corner of the garage behind two engines and three axles right now.

How's $25 shipped to the US? Canada costs more for shipping and I have to get a real number from the post office.

Sounds good. I am in Kansas. I will talk to you tomorrow.

All fresh out of the shower. That thing was nasty.

OK - I know this is an old post but I have the same issue. Need a 2.9L V6 power steering pump pulley and the soooper customer service thinking Ford folks have discontinued it (actually, few years ago).

But, anyway - any ideas? This one got bent in an accident. It's the only thing I can't seem to replace.

Thanks.

I think you will find any similar part for any make or model of that vintage to be discontinued. The 2.9 hasn't been made in almost 25 years.

I am pretty sure I still have this one. The OPs private message never arrived, and I never heard from him again.

It is either in my basement or my garage, and I am going up to clean them out today and tomorrow. If I run across it I will set it aside.

If I don't find it I am about to rip the 2.9 out of my BII that I hardly ever drive. I can probably stand to part with that one early.

Thanks for the message back. Let me know if you find it and how much you want.

OK - I got lucky. Went to the Pik-ur-part place yesterday and the first '87 I looked at was a V6. Got the pulley and only shed a little blood while getting it out. Put it on last night. I have a truck again.

Cool. Glad you got what you needed. I still haven't run across that other one.
