Power door questions

I have always wanted power in my doors since I have had my truck, so I was just wondering if I bought a door from a 98 Ranger like mine with all of the stuff in it and just swapped the whole door would it work? Or would it be easier to put all the stuff into the door I have now? Also, where would i get power from, straight from the battery? If I bought a power door and swapped it is it hard to swap the keyhole or whatever its called. Thanks and sorry for the stupid questions lol.
