They should be fairly simple as long as you take your time. You could probably get a set of doors from a wrecker with everything in them for your year of truck along with the stock electronics,etc for around the same price. May be a bolt on scenerio.
 
If you want stock power mirrors, windows and locks you have to replace the dash wiring harness and the engine harness. You can add the wires to the harnesses but it is alot easier to replace the harness

i have a 99 and i installed some 03 power windows
there are like 4 threads about this on this section, search them and u will get the idea of what u need to do. u can get the oem parts at a junkyard.
i assume your truck has the base model door panels, so ull need those to fit the switches panels. the XLT panels will do.
u can wire em using some relays instead of wiring the GEM module.

I have an '01 and I got the stuff out of the doors from a door truck and bolted them in, then ran all my own power and ground wires. About the hardest part is routing the wires from the drivers side to the passanger side for the mirror, lock and window, so you can control them from the drivers controls.
