So my 98 4x4 has 230k+ and wonder of wonders, it's in bad need of new ball joints, upper control arms and such. Tires are still pointing in the same direction but wearing on the inside, cambered pretty good with the worn components and such. I rotate frequently...
So I was kinda thinking about bringing the front end up a couple inches by cranking the torsion bars, and I know an alignment is always recommended as a follow up to that, as well as after doing ball joints etc. What I'm wondering is if I crank the torsion bars to raise the front up, will it "fix" the excess camber without pointing my wheels off in different directions? I know I'll have to get it aligned eventually when I replace the worn components, I just don't want to do it twice.
Any advice is appreciated.
