Posting Pictures

I'm trying to post some pictures in a thread, and I just can't figure out how to do it without having to get it from a website. Can anyone help me figure out how to get pictures from my computer onto a post?

they have to be uploaded to a site first.. cardomain, myspace, photobucket are all good hosting sites..
