the L7 setup is sick... reverse firing is almost always best. I dont know about that amp placement.. why'd you put it there?
Shortest wiring runs. The ground is the passenger seat mount, power wire comes in through driver footwell, RCA's are only about 2 ft, and speaker wire is approx 2ft as well. I did not want to mount it in the back of the cab (did not want to lose any space, the box with the speaker grill is only about an inch deeper than the factory armrest was). Being an auto with, electric transfer case, and having buckets meant the trans hump is unused space. I have a cover for it when parked. Overall when parked I can pull the rear drawshade and hide the sub, cover the amp, remove the faceplate, and hide the input cable so it looks like no system is in the truck
The box is sealed, homemade, edges routered and covered in bedliner. I chopped the factory console to fit around it, and mounted the factory armrest on top with velcro. The armrest is higher than stock, but more comfortable in my opinion. You will also notice a switch mounted on the driver side of the cupholder, I can manually turn the amp/sub off.
You will notice one stupid thing in those pictures, I originally had the fuse mounted inside the truck right in front of the amp. I quickly realized how dumb that was and moved it to within 1ft of the battery.
