Possible transmission problems???

I have a 2000 ford ranger 4x4 3.0L flex fuel with I think the 4r44e I guess. Anyways, I took my truck to a transmission shop to have it serviced and they connected it to their fluid exchange machine. Everything was fine and I paid my bill and left. I had a 42 mile drive back home and noticed my transmission shifted different. I assumed it was because of fresh fluid. I got home and decided I would check the fluid in it. I put it in park running and checked and it was way overfull...about 1 inch over the top of the crosshatched area. I siphoned it back down to normal, but the transmission is still shifting odd. First of all, there is sometimes a hesitation between 1st and 2nd gear...not always, but sometimes. Its like it is stuck between gears and the rpms don't rise, it just stops speeding up. If I let off the throttle and reapply the gas it shifts fine. Secondly, it has a vibration at 65...now I am running 32's mts on it and it has a 3 inch body lift...so, it has alot of tire noise/vibration, but this was different. It is like a tire has a knot on it. However, the tires are good and it only does this sometimes as well. 3rd thing is that it will sometimes shift hard between 2nd and 3rd, like a jarring or jerking feeling and sometimes when I let off of the accelerator and reapply the gas at highway speeds it will do this as well. That is about it. It has never slipped or failed to shift, but it has developed little querks since the fluid overfilling incident. Is this indicative of a transmission going south, or has it always been like this and I am just being paranoid and hunting problems now? Also, the second problem I mentioned could be a bad u joint or something to. I thought maybe a torque convertor issue possibly though. Anyways, sorrry for such a long question, but what do you guys think? Am I just being paranoid?
 
Is it high mileage and had the trans. been serviced before? Flushing a high mileage,older trans. can be a bad idea..
