Possible Resto Project

Well since my DD is basically how I want it now minus a few things. Time to start planning a new project.

This is what I was thinking, 1st Gen stock height or possibly lowered w/ a 5.0 backed with a descent manual trans. But that is where the idea ends.

I want to hear what you guys have to say.

15x8 cragar SS rims with white letter meaty tires.
not flat black, it needs gloss. possibly red or silver.

Mild to wild, sounds like you're open for about anything. Something like a 347 or punched out 351 for power. Tremec 500/600/top loader for trans. Backhalfed leaves a lot of options open but a lot of work. Some 9" rears have the right width but have the centered pumpkin, fuel cell in the back would be the easy way out. Just way too many options out there depending on use and buget (that's an ugle word).

Well I always wanted to build a 600 horsepower fox body, why not make it a Ranger. I think I have a good knowledge base here.

I was thinking about using a fox body 5.0 motor that way I have aftermarket support for my needs.

What brought this about is there are a few homes I am looking at have the room for me to under take such a project. That and I want to make an old school muscle truck.

its like soft 8's. they are cool, but almost every one has em.( even knowing that, i want em)
if u want a unique truck thats not the way to go.

I think a set of black ones would look cool too. This particular site only carries them in 20's which is not my speed at all.
